SUMMER

When it`s hot

I take my shoes off

I take my shirt off

I take my pants off

I take my underwear off

I take my whole body off

And throw it into the river.

SUMMER

Summer is over

September comes,

October and November

Are also autumn months.

SPRING

Spring is coming

Spring is coming

Flowers are coming too.

Snowdrops, lilies, daffodils

Now are coming too.

AUTUMN

Down, down!

Yellow and brown

The leaves are falling

Over the town.

WINTER

Winter is snowy,

Winter is frosty.

The ground is white

All day and all night.

Teacher: In spring people begin their work in the gardens; they dig the ground, sow the seeds and water the plants, flowers. Let`s show our guests how we work in the garden, sing and do.

A song

This is how we dig the ground (3 times) in our little garden.
This is how we rake the ground (3 times) in our little garden.
This is how we sow the seeds (3 times) in our little garden.
This is how we water the flowers (3 times) in our little garden.
This is how we pick the flowers (3 times) in our little garden.
This is how we smell the flowers (3 times) in our little garden.

(учні співають під музичний супровід пісню та рухаються, показуючи певні дії, які співають)

Teacher: Well done, pupils! You sang this song very well. And now, let`s meet our new guests!

(грає музика, до залу входять учні, які символізують літні місяці)

June: Hi, children. We are brothers. My name is June. I come first and bring warm weather. The trees are green, there are a lot of flowers, the sky is blue, the sun is hot. My brother July comes after me.

July: Yes, I am the second month. I am hot. I give holidays to children and harvest to all the people. Children play in the yard all day long. They run, jump and swim in the river and in the sea.

August: I come after my brother July and give people a lot of vegetables and fruits. My days are long and hot and nights are short and fresh.

Teacher: What season is it?

Pupils: It`s summer.

Teacher: Now be ready to answer the questions and to get marks for your answers.

Teacher: What are summer months?

What is the weather like today?

What can you say about trees?

Do you see flowers in summer?

What flowers can you see?

Do children play in summer?

Have they got holidays?

Teacher: Pupils! Summer brothers want to play with you. Do you want to play? Let's play. Gather flowers in our summer fairy forest and name your flowers. Who is the first - he is the winner.

(Приймають участь 3-4 учні, їм зав’язують очі, завдання - зібрати квіти з підлоги; - хто більше і скоріше – той перший, він отримує фішку, але необхідно також назвати квіти та їх колір).

Teacher: I think you liked the game. And now guess what season has come.

September:

Summer's passed away

Studies have begun

Little time for playing

Much is to be done.

October:

You will read and write

Learn a lot from me

To be clever and bright

You have much to do.

November: Yes, we brothers, change the weather, bring rains, winds, rich harvest and make nature golden.

Teacher: What season is it, children?

Pupils: It`s autumn.

Teacher: - Do you like autumn? Let's see how attentive you were.

What are autumn months?

What is the weather like in autumn?

What colour is autumn?

Is it a beautiful season?

Does it ram in autumn?

Does the sun shine brightly?

Do the birds sing beautiful songs?

Teacher: Thank you for your answers very much, well done, children. And now, who wants to describe autumn use our scheme.

P1, P2, P3…....

Teacher: What poems do you know about autumn? Please, recite them.

P1, P2, P3...

T: Now it`s time for a new game. Our autumn brothers want you to gather the harvest of fruit and vegetables. We need 4 boys or girls. Take these bags, we shall shut your eyes with scarves; gather the harvest from the floor. Who is the first - he is the winner. But name, what you have picked.

(Repeat the games 2-3 times).

T: I see, you like to play. But it's time to go on our fairy trip. Meet our guests.

December: This is the season

When morning are dark

And birds do not sing

In the woods and parks.

January: This is the season

When children ski

And Father Frost

Brings the New Year tree.

February: We are the coldest months

And when it is winter

It is cold

Father Frost is very old

But he is always full of joy

And glad to give me a nice toy.

Teacher: Children, what season is it?

Pupils: It is winter.

Teacher: - What are winter months?

Is winter the coldest season?

What colour is winter?

Teacher: Describe winter using the scheme. (Учні описують зиму за схемою).

Teacher: I think our children know many poems and songs about winter. Let's recite them and sing songs.

P1:

January

The windows are blue at night,
But in the morning they are white,
And snowflakes are falling
“Come out!”, they are calling.

P2: On the ice

Slide, slide, the ice is strong.
Quickly, quickly slide along!
Slide along and don’t be slow,
In the cold your face will glow!

Teacher: Now let's sing and dance together.

(Учні співають пісню «Hokey-pokey»)

Teacher: Now it`s to do the crossword.

1. It is a lovely season, when birds come back from warm countries.

2. It may be cold and warm and sunny and rainy.

3. It is a dull season with rains.

4. It is white and bright.
